A traveller booking from 5,000 kilometres away can’t visit your property before paying. What they buy is a trust signal: a verified identity, checked photos, a review history and a trusted third party holding the funds until they arrive. Without that signal, they don’t book — or they book elsewhere.

By registering with your RCCM or business declaration, you turn an administrative obligation into a measurable competitive edge: access to international and corporate guests, the compliant invoicing companies require, guaranteed payment and protection in case of dispute.

You stay fully in control of your business: your prices, your rules, your calendar. And you can remain on other platforms: calendar sync prevents double bookings.

Host FAQs

My hotel isn't rated yet. Can I register?

Yes. Unrated properties can be listed, with their status clearly shown on the listing. Only properties holding a valid rating decree can display stars. Final arrangements will be set with the Ministry of Tourism before the public launch.

I'm already on other platforms. Is that compatible?

Yes. The host dashboard imports and exports your calendar in iCal format: a night booked elsewhere is blocked automatically on IvoireStay, and vice versa. We recommend a short sync interval and an end-to-end test before enabling Instant Book.

When and how do I get paid?

The stay amount, minus commission and tourist tax, is paid 24 hours after the guest arrives, to the Mobile Money or bank account of your choice. A detailed statement for each booking is available in your dashboard.

What if a guest damages my place?

If you’ve enabled the security deposit, the pre-authorised amount can be used after documented evidence (dated photos, quotes). IvoireStay mediation applies before any charge, to ensure fairness for both parties.

Who can access my data and figures?

Your documents are only viewed by the verification team. The Ministry of Tourism only sees aggregated, anonymised indicators (occupancy by region, seasonality), never your individual commercial data.
